Decanter Awards 2025 - Platinum 97/100
Casa delle Colonne Zero 2015 represents the purest expression of the Freccianera philosophy — a vintage crafted only in exceptional years and released without dosage to let its natural structure shine. From our finest Chardonnay and Pinot Nero vineyards surrounding the historic family villa, it captures the quiet power of Franciacorta’s mineral soils and the patience of long cellar ageing.

The Moment
Casa delle Colonne Zero 2015 is for collectors and dreamers — a meditative Franciacorta that turns any quiet evening into a moment of grace.
Casa delle Colonne, which gives its name to the Freccianera Winery Reserves, is the family home where the Berlucchi siblings were raised. The zero dosage reserve of Casa delle Colonne derives from a parcel selection of the family’s historic vineyards, on calcareous and sandy soils, where the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines grow. The entire 96-month aging process on the yeasts is hand-crafted in the historic cellar, before the Reserves are released to the market.
This Franciacorta has a very fine perlage, with persistent and numerous bubbles. The scent is precise and combines citrus and toasted notes. On the palate it is vertical and powerful, savoury and fresh. A pleasant and memorable experience. Pleasantly memorable experience.
“A wisp of white smoke and steely mineral aromas, then a palate full of lipsmaking citrus and creamy almond biscuit with fresh, grassy inflections. Lively and fresh, with a beaming line of acidity and a profoundly long finish”.
